Business Services Administrator

Hurren & Hope are working with a company that provide the purchasing, crop marketing and administrative function for over 1400 farming businesses across the UK. They act as an extension to a farmer’s farm office, with industry professionals purchasing and marketing their core agricultural inputs and outputs on their behalf.
They are looking for a Business Service Administrator with the specific responsibility for the procurement of telecoms and utilities at the best possible price, offering the highest levels of service to the membership, providing administrative support to the utilities purchasing team.

  The role will include:

  • Assisting with Member enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions with suppliers, member orders and supplier meetings.
  • Submit relevant information on Telecoms for insertion into the FF monthly newsletter and Purchasing News.
  • Provide specific administrative support as and when required to the Business Services division including holiday / sickness cover and other periods of absence.
  • Provide telemarketing support to other Business Services product areas as required.

Experience required:

  • A good standard of general education.
  • Administration experience essential.
