Graduate Cloud Engineer

Hurren & Hope is proud to be working with a leading tech consultancy in Suffolk who are seeking a dynamic IT graduate with ambitions to work in the Cloud Engineering space.

Our client is an award-winning technology firm working with high profile, enterprise clients to deliver innovative, groundbreaking tech solutions. They are based out of Suffolk and although they are generally open to remote working, the early stages of this role will require time in their office.

This role is perfect for a graduate with at least 1 year of commercial experience, eager to push themselves and develop in one of the fastest growing tech arenas globally – the Cloud space.

The role:

  • 1st line support initially, before progressing into more responsibility
  • Setting up equipment for new employees
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting on a ticket-based system
  • Provide excellent customer service

The person:

While the early days of this role will be offering support, we are looking for a ‘sponge’ who wants to learn from experienced team members around them, with ambitions to grow into a Cloud Engineer role or beyond. As such, we are seeking somebody ambitious, dynamic, with a passion for learning and an open minded approach.

Ideally, you will be a recent graduate with at least a year of experience in a commercial setting.

  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Hard worker
  • Fine attention to detail
  • Confident in speaking with both internal and external customers

Our client has a fantastic reputation not only locally but also nationally, working with high-profile clients and winning awards for their close links to global technology providers.

Our client will support you in achieving Cloud certifications, and will invest in your development from day one.

This role is based in the Suffolk office and will require you to be in the office on a regular basis.

Please get in touch with Brady at Hurren & Hope to discuss this further.
